Ras yr iaith T-shirts are now on sale – only £5 per shirt (all sizes) with the profit going back into the Ras.
But, if you’re generous enough to sponsor a km and to run, then you’ll get 1 shirt – for free! You can wear the wonderful bright custard coloured shirt with pride as you run and show your support or the Welsh language across our towns.
The shirts have been sponsored by the classy and tasty Welsh food producers, Llaeth y Llan or Village Diary in English. Their logo is worn with pride on the back of the shirt.
“The shirts proved to be very popular for the first Ras in 2014. In fact, I still see them being worn two years later,” said Rhodri Francis of Cered, Ceredigion’s language initiative group. who is, himself a regular wearer of the old Ras T-shirt as he jogs around Aberystwyth keeping fit.
As well as the strong red Ras logo the rich yellow of the shirt makes it ideal for Ras runners to be recognised by motorists and by-standers as they run for the Welsh language through 25 of Wales’s towns in July 2016.
