Run with Us!

Buy a kilometer and run with us

Over 60kms will be sold as part of Ras yr Iaith 2016.  The price of 1 kilometre is £50. Because of the short nature of the run more than one society or club will be able to sponsor and run a kilometer.

These are the kind of groups which can sponsor and run:

  • Business – shop, tavern, cafe, bus company
  • School – pupils, teachers and parents at primary and high schools
  • Colleges – University and Coleg Ceredigion students
  • Clubs – Urdd, village football or rugby club
  • Societies – Young Farmer’s Clubs, Merched y Wawr, Rotary. WI

If you buy a kilometer, you will get:

  • Secure a place for your business, club or society. Remember, it’s ‘first come, first serve’!
  • The honour for a member of your society holding the baton for a part of the sponsored kilometer.
  • Your right to fly your club’s banner or display your businesses logo for that kilometer for that kilometer at the front of the Ras with the baton. If you’re running on behalf of a YFC or football club why not wear your club’s shirt?
  • Sticker to place in your window to show you’ve sponsored a kilometer.
  • High Viz Vest

Stewards running with the race will wear the Ras yr Iaith high-visibility jacket.
