In the face of a very difficult year when the Coronavirus spread as a pandemic all across the world, rules were placed by the Welsh Government to safeguard its people, in adhering with these rules Ras yr Iaith as we know it, had to be postponed for 2020.
BUT…
Ras123 was held instead – a virtual race! It was decided that for this year we would raise money towards the 7 health board charities across Wales as a thank you for all their hard work during the most challenging of years. The Race managed to collect just over Β£2,300 and these are the 7 health boards to have received money:
Aneurin Bevan Health Board; Cardiff and Vale; Swansea Bay; Hywel Dda; Awyr Las; Cwm Taf Morgannwg and Powys.
This was our message:
*Help us to raise money for community health in 1, 2, 3!”
