The Ras is very fortunate to obtain the financial support of many organisations and institutions in Wales.

Sponsor a Stretch

The £50 which is raised from the sponsorship of every stretch will go towards the holding of the event. By sponsoring a stretch you  show your support to the Welsh language, physical health and community spirit. If you sponsor a stretch, then we would ask you, or someone you nominate, to run with us.

Contact your local Menter Iaith to arrange payment.

Your sponsorship will go towards the organisation of the race. However, any profit made from the event will be reinvested in the Welsh language in the form of grants.

Sponsor the Race Nationally

Are you a national organisation, or a large business and want to give something back to the community and the Welsh language? Here’s a chance to do just that.

If you’re interested in being a national sponsor, contact Heledd ap Gwynfor, Development Officer, Mentrau Iaith Cymru, for more information: heledd@mentrauiaith.cymru

Want to contribute in another way?

If you can’t make it to the Ras but would like to support it, or you would like to donate more than the £50 per km, then, we would appreciate your support.

Ras yr Iaith will gratefully receive all contributions. Your money will go towards holding the event – paying for the print work, the publicity material and the myriad of other things large and small which go into making this ambitious project.

Please make your cheque payable to Rhedadeg Ltd (the not-for-profit company which administrates the Ras). You can send your cheque to this address:
